Edgar Vasquez:  Edgar is the president of Pitangus tours C.A. He studied English and Linguistics in England for three years and then 7 more years in the Universidad de Los Andes to become a Licenciate in Modern Languages and linguistics. He has guided exclusive (VIP) tour for over 6 years. He specializes in birds and reptiles and normally guides tours for specialist in many other different areas. He’s worked with many different projects for the development of eco-tourism platforms in rural areas and in the development of Social Based Tourism.

Edgar is also the head of Pitangus Birding project. A scheme that involves an eco-touristic net of protected areas, parks and hostels throughout  Venezuela for the protection and preservation of birds species and the environments they live and depend on.

At the moment Edgar is filming a TV series called “Venezuela Paraiso de Aves”. This 13 episode documentary about the birds in Venezuela will be transmited in national TV and all over South-America.
